i know that the majority of people who follow me on here will already be on board with this, so to an extent it’s ‘preaching to the choir’, but the above article puts the whole argument really well, and it’s not something i’ve seen many people write about.

obviously there’s another issue to be addressed in the fact that almost every facebook-hijacking i’ve seen, whether on a male or female’s account, has been along the lines of ‘I LOVE COCK’ - because obviously the worst/most socially unacceptable thing a male in this society can do is not to be heteronormative and the worst/most socially unacceptable thing a female in this society can do is to enjoy, or talk about, sex.

its not homophobia though its just the fact its vulgar, you wouldn’t say to someone standardly that you love cock (i say that, most of my female mates would say it but thats cos we’re all vulgar pricks). I’ve not read the article or anything, just from reading the post i say this so i suppose I’m not really in a position to put me view across.

It is homophobia because when most people hijack their mate’s facebook, they think putting “I LOVE COCK” or “I LOVE MUFF” as their friend’s status is the worst thing they can put, implying that being gay is bad and it’d be hilarious if their male friend really did love cock
